How Can I Report a Job Scam?
If you think you have been targeted or scammed, report it through the Safety Centre.
Steps
- Open the Safety Centre.
- Go to Report a Scam Incident and click Report a Scam.
- Step 1: enter your name, email and phone number.
- Step 2: describe what happened and attach your evidence.
- Submit.
Prepare this first
- Your name, phone number and email, so the team can follow up (kept confidential)
- When it happened
- The job link, if there is one
- Job title and company name
- Proof of the conversation, screenshots or other evidence
- Any payment or information you shared
What happens next
Maukerja states the team will review your report and follow up if more information is needed.
If you have lost money, also contact your bank straight away and report it to the police. Maukerja cannot recover payments for you.
