How Can I Stay Safe When Looking for a Job?

  • Never pay to get a job. No real employer charges you to interview or to start work.
  • Never share your OTP. Keep OTPs and login details private, even if the request looks official.
  • Question unexpected offers. Check that the message relates to a job you actually applied for.
  • Be careful with links and files. Do not click or download anything from an unverified sender.

Job ads on Maukerja also carry an Important Reminder: never share your bank or credit card details when applying for a job, avoid making any payment or filling in unrelated surveys, and report anything suspicious straight away.
