How Do I Deactivate or Delete My Account?
Go to Settings › Manage Your Account. There are two different options.
Deactivate
A temporary closure. While your account is deactivated you cannot log in, and you will stop receiving job progress updates and job suggestions by email and phone.
Delete
A permanent closure. You can no longer log in, and your personal data is deleted in line with applicable law. As stated on that page:
- Your profile is removed from search within 30 days.
- Your personal data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days, unless the law requires longer retention.
Deleting cannot be undone. If you only want a break, choose deactivate instead. You can also just turn off notifications and switch off I am Ready For Work on your profile.
